Welcome to the Meeniyan Golf Club
We are situated 4km south of Meeniyan and 19 km from Leongatha, on the Meeniyan-Promontory Road (C444, at the centre of South Gippsland). We aim to present an excellent golf course and pleasant overall sporting facility for members, visitors, their families and the surrounding community. Our fully licensed clubhouse, with views over five fairways, is available for all kinds of functions.
The 18-hole, par 71, 5779m volunteer run course consists of grass greens, natural bush and undulating fairways set alongside Stony Creek. Billy Creek flows through the course. Golfers drive from the 18th tee over the Toonallook Wetlands, an expanse of water surrounded by native grasses, shrubs and freshly planted trees indigenous to the area.
Clubs, buggies and golf carts are available for hire.
New members and visitors are always welcome at the Meeniyan Golf Club
The club hosts an annual tournament in April. Competitions for men are held on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and for ladies on Wednesday. The club offers Friday night meals during Daylight Saving months and the bar stocks golf supplies during competitions.
We pride ourselves on our friendliness and on our community participation. We conduct several major events each year as well as our Annual Tournament (refer to events for details).
